Carla Gomes & Valéria Martins

We, the artists Carla Gomes and Valéria Martins, are a collective that develops an artistic practice centered on the body as a political territory, exploring themes such as structural violence, collective resistance, contemporary exhaustion, and mechanisms of emancipation. Somewhere between performance and theatre, our work invites the audience to engage in confrontational and participatory experiences, questioning the normalization of oppression, the limits of autonomy, and the cycles of repetition that run through everyday life.
